The lyrics satire a well-known song from an American film that used Yellowface. Is its own 15-minute performance piece and also part of the 60 minute one-person storytelling performance "An ABC ReDiscovers Appearance". This song shares my experience of watching a lot of television as a kid and how Asian Americans were depicted. These stereotypes have warped my perceptions of appearance of myself and other Asians.
