"Nature's Simplicity Hides a Greater Complexity Than Man's." Soetsu Yanagi
Collected living organisms were encased in glass slide mounts. These were then projected, exposed to copper plates, and printed as etchings, then decayed etchings. The organisms go through a second life cycle by photographic and printmaking processes.
MEDIUM AND SIZE: Lithographic Film Photographs: 8" x 10" & 20" x 24" [20 x 25 cm & 50 x 60 cm]. Etchings: 22" x 29" [56 x 74 cm]. Original organisms are 1-1/4" x 7/8" [3.18 x 2.24 cm].
